Marketing

The Marketing and Communications Department is the voice of BioPAD. It promotes BioPAD and its functions within the greater biotechnology community and also the broader public community. One of the key strategic objectives of BioPAD is to facilitate networking within the business and scientific communities and to promote BioPAD’s investments. This objective spreads awareness of BioPAD’s contribution to biotechnology in terms of its social and economic value.
To fulfill this objective, there are various functions which are encompassed and carried out by the Marketing and Communications Department. The Department is responsible for the following:

  • Facilitating brand exposure, and promoting an awareness of who BioPAD is and its function.
  • Positioning and promoting BioPAD’s investments.
  • Strengthening relationships with stakeholders and creating confidence.
  • Coordinating networking forums
  • Coordinating and facilitating workshops to assist companies in business related strategies such as marketing strategies through a network of service providers.
  • Working with other stakeholders such as other BRICs to facilitate partnerships and knowledge sharing.
  • Participating in and organizing conferences and tradeshows such as Bio2Biz
  • Organising and presenting Bio-Forums with distinguished speakers.
  • Promoting and increasing awareness in biotechnology.
